PDP Crisis: Dele Momodu Sends Strong Warning To Wike

Dele Momodu, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for president, has warned Governor Nyesom Wike of River State to tread carefully before it’s too late.

The governor of Rivers and PDP presidential candidate Abubakar Atiku are embroiled in internal disputes at the time of the remark.

“Many politicians rely only on their positions of authority to survive.” My brother, you are loved. But someone has to be able to be honest with you. No general engages in excessive frontal combat. Before it’s too late, kindly apply the brakes, he pleaded.

Momodu posted a statement on Thursday under the subject “My Kobo Advice to Governor Nyesom Wike” from his verified Instagram account.

“Good evening, my beloved Brother,” he said. I’ve been nervously observing you throughout the past few months. I’m concerned about your failure to understand Nigeria as a nation. You must have underestimated how Nigeria’s owners conduct their business.

“I read Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s biography. I was a participant in the June 12, 1993 crisis and a firsthand observer of Chief Moshood Abiola’s struggles. You must have observed how Dr. Peter Odili, your predecessor, was halted in 2007 closer to home.

“You’re undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s top governors, if not the greatest, in terms of performance. I’m incredibly proud of your exceptional accomplishments. I am aware of your intense rage. You have the right to be. However, I beg you in the name of God to avoid making choices out of rage. You’ve been treated quite well by Nigeria.

Rivers State has been very kind to you. You have received incredible blessings from God. Your family is so lovely. Because of the services you have provided, your followers adore you tremendously. PDP has been your reliable foundation.

“A bridge shouldn’t be destroyed after being used to span a river. What will happen to your friends and family even if you no longer use the bridge? I beg you to put an end to this excessive and ongoing ANGER. It has gotten out of control. For fear of losing your business, the majority of others near you will remain silent, he stated.
